Hospital Connect by Al Hakim is a medical information and referral facilitation service based in Sylhet, Bangladesh. We help Bangladeshi patients access accurate information about internationally accredited hospitals in Thailand and assist with coordination of their medical journey.
We are:
- An approved information representative of select hospitals in Thailand
- A coordination and facilitation service for medical travel
- A Bengali-first support service for patients and families
- We are not:
- A hospital or medical clinic
- A licensed medical practitioner or diagnostic service
- A travel agent or visa processing authority
- A financial intermediary or payment processor for hospital fees

Nothing on this website constitutes:
- A medical diagnosis
- A treatment recommendation
- A guarantee of any medical outcome

3. Our Role as Hospital Representative
Al-Hakim Tech holds direct approved representative status with a number of hospitals in Thailand. This means:
- We are authorised to provide accurate, hospital-verified information about those institutions
- We can facilitate introductions and appointment coordination on your behalf
- We may assist with pre-consultation paperwork and communication
- This representative status does not mean:
- We speak on behalf of the hospital in any medical capacity
- We are responsible for the medical care you receive at those hospitals
- Any agreement with us constitutes an agreement with the hospital
- All medical care agreements, treatment consents, and financial arrangements are made directly and solely between the patient and the treating hospital.
4. No Financial Transaction Through Hospital Connect
This is a critical term. Please read carefully.
Hospital Connect by Al Hakim does not collect, hold, process, or receive any payment related to hospital treatment costs, surgical fees, consultation fees, or any medical service fee.
- All hospital payments are made directly by the patient to the hospital
- Hospital Connect does not issue invoices for hospital treatment
- Hospital Connect does not act as an escrow, agent, or intermediary for hospital funds
- If anyone claims to be from Hospital Connect and requests payment for hospital treatment on our behalf — please contact us immediately. This would not be an authorised transaction.
- Al-Hakim Tech may charge a separate, clearly disclosed coordination or support service fee for specific logistics assistance. Any such fee will always be communicated transparently before you agree to it.
5. Accuracy of Information
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that hospital information, specialist details, accreditation status, and service descriptions on this website are accurate and up to date.
However:
- Hospital services, fees, and specialist availability can change without notice
- JCI accreditation statuses are verified at time of publication and may be updated
- Cost estimates provided are approximate and for reference only — actual costs are determined by the hospital
- We recommend always confirming current details directly with the hospital or through our coordination team before travel.
6. Limitation of Liability
Al-Hakim Tech and Hospital Connect shall not be held liable for:
- Any medical outcome, complication, or result from treatment received at a recommended hospital
- Any loss, expense, or inconvenience arising from travel, visa, or logistics arrangements
- Any inaccuracy in hospital information that the hospital itself has not disclosed to us
- Any decision made by the patient based on information from this website
- By using this service, you acknowledge that medical travel involves inherent risks and that the final responsibility for all medical and travel decisions rests with you and your treating physicians.
7. Patient Responsibilities
As a user of Hospital Connect's service, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete medical information when making an inquiry
- Make your own independent assessment before committing to any treatment abroad
- Deal directly with the hospital for all treatment agreements and payments
- Not hold Hospital Connect responsible for the quality of care received at any hospital
- Inform us promptly if your situation or travel plans change
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, design, logos, and hospital profiles — is the property of Al-Hakim Tech or used with permission. You may not reproduce, copy, or republish any content without written permission.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Any dispute arising from the use of this service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sylhet, Bangladesh.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will always be published on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the service after any update constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
